This ride leaves from Ivanhoe Town Hall at 6.30am.
We will be riding to Kinglake via Watsonia then the Greensborough bypass to Diamond Creek, Hurstbridge and St Andrews.
Other meeting point will be the Caltex service station in Diamond Creek on the main road just after the railway crossing at 7.15am
AGF riders – follow coach Chris’s Kinglake Run.
This involves riding at 75% of your FTP from the start of the Kinglake climb at black calf creek then every two minutes simulate fending off an attack or chasing down a break, where you will get out of the saddle and sprint aggressively for 30 seconds then back into your 75% FTP pace.
We will regroup at the top of Kinglake.
We will then head back the same way holding a solid tempo pace.
Approx. Distance/Elevation: 90km & 1800m
Coffee stop to be determined.
